Induction - Fraud Awareness


<h2 id="course-outline">Course Outline</h2> <p>In your new career in the APS, you’ve probably noticed there is much to learn that is new and this course adds another layer of learning on the topic of fraud, in particular fraud awareness. The Commonwealth treats matters involving fraud very seriously so what you learn here is just as important as any of the other this subjects in your induction. During this course you will learn what fraud is, how it can occur and what your responsibilities are in dealing with fraud as a public official.</p> <p>This module has been developed in partnership with the Attourney General's Department.</p> <h2 id="objectives">Objectives</h2> <p>At the end of this course you should be able to:</p> <ul> <li>List the types of fraud and recognise their impacts</li> <li>Recognise the components of the Commonwealth Fraud Control Framework</li> <li>Recount your responsibilities when dealing with fraud in the workplace.</li> </ul> <hr /> <h5 id="this-program-aligns-with-the-working-in-government-craft-at-the-foundation-level">This program aligns with the Working in Government Craft at the Foundation Level.</h5> <p>Working in Government is a willingness to serve and the ability to apply a deep understanding of the context in which the APS operates.
